Introduction 介紹
CROWN couplers are specially designed for the rebar joining for Grade 500B steel in Hong Kong. The product suits bar sizes from 16mm to 40mm in diameter. The couplers installation is quick and easy without the need for any specially trained person to operate. The tread is straight and eliminates any installation error and miss connection procedures. The compact size of the CROWN steel coupler is compact and suit for congestion rebar fixing environment. The technique overcome long lapping length in confined column / wall location and prevent concrete honey cone. The CROWN couplers are fitted to the end of thread bar, requiring only the engagement and tightening of the next adjoining connection bar at site.

CROWN parallel threaded type couplers are suited to projects which require high volumes of reinforcement ratio. They produce a full strength joint and yet are one of the smallest couplers. The ends of the bars to be joined that the joint is stronger than the bar. They are designing to achieve failure loads in excess of 125% of the characteristic strength of 500B rebar.
